Oui je pense aussi que tout ceci sert aussi de prélude à une régulation du marché US. Normalement je dirais qu’une affaire comme ça prend plusieurs années mais vu le contexte je penche plutôt pour quelques mois.
J’en profite pour parier sur une libéralisation du marché US d’ici 2 ans.
La régulation sera indépendante des procès imo. Il peut très bien y avoir ouverture du marché avant que l’histoire avec PS/FTP/Cereus soit finie; dans ce cas Party poker pourrait retrouver son monopole par exemple^^ Mais bon vu comment ça traine avec les politiciens depuis qq années déjà, je pense que ça va encore prendre du temps.

500 000 adresses et détails bancaires détenus par Tzvetkoff ?
Daniel Tzvetkoff , certainement à l’origine de toute cette affaire détiendrait le nom et les coordonnées bancaires de plus de 500 000 clients des différents sites de poker en ligne au centre de l’enquête menée par le Département de la Justice Américain.
Ces données proviendraient essentiellement de Pokerstars et Full Tilt Poker d’aprés le Dailytelegraph.
Arrêté il y a désormais un an, Tzvetkoff risque 75 années de prison et 80 millions de dollars d’amende et est accusé d’avoir, au travers de sa société Instabill, procédé à 500 millions de dollars de paiements au bénéfice des joueurs de poker américains de Full Tilt et Pokerstars.
Le tournage de “The Poker Lounge” interrompu à mi-chemin
Le tournage de l’émission « The Poker Lounge » a été interrompu en plein milieu de l’enregistrement d’une des émissions à Cardiff. Cette décision a été prise par la production après qu’elle ait constaté que la seconde tranche de paiement n’avaient pas été honorée à temps par Pocket Kings filiale de Full Tilt Poker.

Ub.com ferme enfin ses portes aux joueurs américains
Ce n’était pas encore très clair et alors que nous annoncions sur la base des informations de Bluff Magazine la fermeture de la salle aux joueurs américains dès mardi, il apparait que ces derniers pouvaient pour certains encore jouer en argent réel.
C’est désormais terminé et confirmé par Joe Seebok : les joueurs américains ne peuvent plus accéder aux tables en argent réel depuis hier soir.

Absolute Poker: Player refunds top priority

LAS VEGAS—An offshore online poker operator facing shutdown because of federal charges of bank fraud and money laundering says it is reviewing options with lawyers before moving to refund balances to its players in the United States.
Absolute Poker said in a statement Thursday that its first priority is refunding money in accounts with its site and UB.com, which is on the same network. Both domains were seized by the FBI on Friday after prosecutors in New York announced 11 indictments of executives and others tied to Absolute, PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker.
Absolute says it has retained law firm Black Rome LLP as counsel in the United States.

PokerStars and Full Tilt reached similar agreements Wednesday.

PokerStars keeps gambling licence

E-GAMING giant PokerStars – one of the island’s biggest employers – will retain its gambling licence despite two of its founders being indicted for fraud in the US.
Isai Scheinberg and Paul Tate, who are both Isle of Man residents, could face 30 years in jail if convicted of fraud and illegal gambling allegedly involving billions of dollars.
The pair were among 11 indicted by the FBI charged with money laundering, illegal gambling and bank fraud the week before last on what has been branded Black Friday.
A civil money laundering and forfeiture complaint was also filed against PokerStars and two other on-line poker companies Full Tilt and Absolute Poker. and their assets.
PokerStars, which employs 250 in the island, said in a statement that it categorically denied the allegations.
It has been forced to suspend real money poker services to players in the States although the company stressed it was business usual for all customers outside America and that player balances were safe.
The www.pokerstars.com domain name initially seized by the US authorities has since been restored to enable it to be used by PokerStars outside the States and to ensure the return of money to American customers.
Three of the 11 US-based defendants appeared in court last week and were released on bail and the Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York said it was working with foreign law enforcement agencies and Interpol to secure the arrest of the other eight including Mr Scheinberg and Mr Tate.
But Detective Chief Inspector John Mitchell, head of the island’s financial crime unit, said: ‘We are fully aware of this investigation but we have not had any requests for assistance the US or Interpol.

Following a meeting on Monday between PokerStars the island’s Gambling Supervision Commission, it was confirmed the company would retain its licence to operate here.

‘The current position is that PokerStars will retain its licence in the Isle of Man – there is no reason to reconsider that.’
Mr Bell stressed that PokerStars was the only Isle of Man company listed in the indictment and civil complaint.
He said the island’s e-gaming industry was tightly regulated to protect both players’ funds and the Isle of Man’s international reputation.
He said any move by the US to extradite island residents would have to go through the UK, with which we have an extradition agreement. ‘We would consider any proposal,’ he added.

Mr Scheinberg, who has joint Canadian and Israeli citizenship, and Mr Tate are both listed as Isle of Man residents in the indictment.
They are accused of arranging for money received from US gamblers to be disguised as payments to hundreds of non-existent on-line merchants purporting to sell items such as jewellery and golf balls.
The pair could face 30 years in prison if found guilty of the charges.
FBI assistant director in charge Janice K. Fedarcyk said: ‘These defendants, knowing full well that their business with US customers and US banks was illegal, tried to stack the deck.’

Moi j’ai cashout le 14 avril validé dans la minute et crédité sur mon compte le 20 avril.
