We have had a few reports of this and are investigating this internally. Please email a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com with a detailed description of what you are doing when you experience this (what site, how many tables, what report/tab you are using, how big your database is, etc) and a list of your system specs (CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD speed) so we can add you to our contact list of people experiencing this problem. We may want to schedule a remote support session with you to gather more details/logs or we may just send you an update privately when we have a possible fix in place.

+1
There are some people that are noting issues with performance in the latest build, but a lot of customers are also noticing big improvements. The people with these issues are actually only a tiny % of the amount of users. It might seem like a lot if you are only looking at this thread but I can assure you the number of people reporting problems is a mere fraction of a percentage point of the number of downloads at this point. In any case that is not acceptable and I do apologize to everyone experiencing these issues and it is at the very top of our list. We are setting up several TV sessions with various people to gather info and get this narrowed down asap.
A lot of the cases only happen after considerable amount of play or with a huge amount of multitabling so in those scenario’s its quite difficult to get information quickly but you can be sure that we realize this is a serious issue and well get it fixed asap and well be working extremely hard to do so.
Can you give us some info about your system? Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using? What CPU are you using? How much RAM? Do you have a 5400rpm (laptop) or 7200rpm (desktop) HDD? Or are you using an SSD?
Can you give me more details about when exactly you notice the lag? Is it as soon as you start playing? Or only after playing for many hours/hands? How big is your database in the database info screen, how many hands does your hero have, how many tables do you play and what site/games are you playing? What tabs in HM2 do you spend most of your time on when playing?
Next time you play please see if the suggested workaround helps your performance issues:
- Pick a villain in the Reports that only has a few hands in your database.
- Restart HM2.
- Leave HM2 on the Home tab while playing.
Some other things you can try to help us narrow down possible causes of the problem are:
- Does it happen with these 5 options off: Settings > Auto Refresh; HUD Options: Displayed Stats [ ] show caddy notes; HUD Options > Config Properties [ ] Auto Z-Order and [ ] Always On Top off; HUD Options > Site Options > Live Tracking > [ ] All Options disabled.
If you continue to have problems, you can rollback to 7318 from the following link - [url]Page Not Found
J’ai aussi le problème.
J’ai constaté une grosse montée en mémoire du processus.
Même problème que vous tous, gros lag de HM2 après la maj. C’est assez ennuyant En espérant qu’un patch arrive assez vite !

HM2 caches certain information in order to optimize search results and report load times. The minimum RAM that HM2 was designed for is 2GB.
The amount of caching (and thus the amount of RAM used) for an individual user is, in part, dependent on the RAM available and how much RAM is required for other applications you are running. Thus HM2 intelligently uses RAM based on a balancing act between how much you have and how much you are using elsewhere. If someone has a significant amount of RAM available, HM2 will cache more in order to further improve your response times to queries and report loading.
In short, high ram use isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

I’ve got the same issue too, which puts me on tilt everyday!!!
Well, if HEM2 takes 2Go of ram max, i’ve seen it using more than 2Go
I’ve noticed the soft begun to lag when i go on the reports section. I will try to see if by unticking the auto refresh it s better!
I’ve send my computer configuration on the adress you gave.
EDIT: Pour les poker académiciens qui auraient le même probleme. J’ai décoché le rafriachissement automatique et ai évité d’aller dans la section reports pendant toute la session, et je n’ai eu aucun soucis ce soir!

Thank you for the feedback to let us know the suggested workaround is helping in your case. We are working very hard on this issue but it takes a lot of time to test, have the developers attempt a fix, and then test some more, and repeat. I don’t have an ETA yet for when we might have it fixed but you can be sure this is our top priority right now.
