Hi, Everyone,
Everest has recently concluded an in-depth collusion investigation involving 5 of its most active Swedish players. This review was prompted by a series of player suspicions, as reported via our Customer Service channels, and discussed on a number of international internet poker forums.
To begin with, Everest takes the integrity of its poker room extremely seriously. Our security team prides itself on preserving the safety and protection of all Everest players, and is responsible and accountable for maintaining a universal degree of fairness upon our tables. Player safety, player protection, and a collusion-free environment are core aspects of the Everest experience, and are part of the very foundation of the Everest brand. We employ a dedicated team of expert collusion detection specialists as well as an array of complex automated systems to review game-play in real time and retrospectively, to detect any instances of possible player collusion and other suspicious patterns or behaviours. Public complaints of collusion at Everest Poker are seldom, as most such threats are detected and eliminated by our staff and systems long before other players might have noticed otherwise. Still, we take all reports of suspected collusion very seriously, and fully investigate these to the best of our capabilities.
Over the past week, the gaming accounts of these 5 Swedish players were temporarily disabled, while we embarked on a full-scale fraud and collusion investigation of this group. Over the course of the review, our teams set out to scrutinize these players and collusion accusations from all angles, involving discussions with concerned players providing hand ids, interviews with the accused players, and a complete low-level historic review of the groups’ gaming patterns by our anti-collusion specialists and automated systems. Here are the results of the investigation.
The players in question have played a significant number of hands together over their tenure at Everest (in the tens of thousands). They are site-regulars and each has a high standing within the VIP summit club. Through the course of the investigation, it became clear that these players knew each other on a personal level. Tens of thousands of hands were intensely scrutinized, and a very small number showed weak but possible evidence of soft play. The threat discovered was not significant enough to warrant a closure of any of the players accounts, or a seizure or redistribution of funds, as collusion could not be confirmed.
Nevertheless, given that these players do know each other on a personal level, and given the limited examples of soft play possibly exhibited between these players, we have still taken the appropriate steps to ensure that these players no longer have the opportunity to sit together within the Everest Poker room. Concerned players should know that we continue to value the safety of the Everest community, and appreciate our players’ help and participation in bringing this investigation to light.
Thank you,
Everest Poker
Il semblerait que sur EVP plusieurs joueurs peuvent jouer avec LA MEME IP.
Grave quand même
Et le plus beau, le post d’un des tricheurs qui se fout de la geule d’EVP et de la communauté.
